I need feedback from the game where my bullets land and the feedback as of now is inaccurate. I'm probably not alone with this hell I'm not a pro to control the spread with my eyes closed. My spraying was heavily relaying on the tracers and impacts especially close quarter and now it just does not work. My big problem is that you can not trust first person tracers and impact holes anymore. The recoil jumping is just a annoying part of the problem it can make feel disconnected and sick. The green rectangle is where the bullet can land (pretty much randomly is you are running) red points are what the client thinks the bullets landed (this is where you see the holes on the wall) blue points are where landed on the server ( these are the true hits that will kill your enemies.) I was running towards the wall and shooting just to make the spread bigger. Now after the update what you see is only client sided and not accurate at all. Before the update if you were spraying on the wall the impact holes on the wall were accurate so you bullets were landing and hitting there both client and server side. When he shoots with the Deag you can see the crosshair starts to move to the direction where the client thinks the bullet landed but shortly after that the crosshair quickly jumps to a new position because it gets the right position from the server. In short: the game is moving the camera to where it thinks it should be, then the server is telling the game where it should be, so the game attempts to correct for the mistake, which is rather jarring. It starts to move your aim based on the client recoil value until it receives the server's value, which the camera quickly moves to, making a jarring rubberbanding shift that looks real ugly. How does this relate to the increased/motion sickness inducing aimpunch effect? It's because the client cannot get the server's random value fast enough to smoothly move your aim. Essentially, the game works the same, except the recoil applied to your shots is generated by the server, not your client. Yes, spraying at a wall produces inaccurate client values, this isn't due to lag or anything that will actually affect the way you play, it's due to the fact that the client plain generates the wrong random seed for recoil.
